GESA Student Ambassador elected
PhD student Sergio Elizondo Gonzales has been elected as the first GESA Student Ambassador by members of the GESA Doctoral Network.
Sergio Elizondo Gonzales has been elected as the first GESA Student Ambassador. Sergio is a PhD student in Informatics and his research involves evaluating methods to address the balance of supply and demand in future electricity networks (the Smart Grid).
Sergio was elected by the students of the GESA Doctoral Network to represent their views within the Academy. His first public engagement in this role will be to attend the next Edinburgh TED talk event, 'Think Again', in June.
The GESA Steering Group would like to congratulate Sergio and wish him the best of luck in his new role.
