Professor Rounsevell joins International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme

Professor Mark Rounsevell, Director of GESA, has accepted an invitation to join the Analysis, Integration and Modelling of the Earth System (AIMES),

AIMES is a synthesis and integration project, which forms part of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme.

IGBP coordinate international research on both a global and a regional -scale. They focus on interactions between Earth's biological, chemical and physical processes and their interactions with human systems.

IGBP’s vision is to help guide society onto a sustainable pathway during rapid global change. They aim to do this by providing essential scientific leadership and knowledge of the Earth system.
