GESA central to Edinburgh-Sydney Partnership Collaboration Award

GESA featured prominently in the successful application for a Partnership Collaboration Award with Sydney University

The collaboration project, entitled 'Environmental Humanities and Social Sciences at Sydney and Edinburgh: Exploring Partnerships in Ocean and Everyday Environmentalism' will be led by David Schlosberg (Sydney), co-PI GESA member David Farrier, and Elizabeth Bomberg, Deputy Director of GESA.

Watch these pages for upcoming workshops and events linked to the funded collaboration. The awarded projects will examine the cultural and historical stories attached to human/ocean interactions over time (workshops held in Sydney in Feb 2018). Then, in July 2018, workshop and events in Edinburgh will explore the environmental practices of everyday life, with particular focus on material flows and the circular economy. It’s great to see how the interdisciplinary interaction facilitated by GESA has resulted in these exciting collaborative projects.
