Preparing for Publication
For this session we welcome Professor Elizabeth Bomberg, deputy director of GESA, with a previous role on the editorial board for Environmental Politics; and Alisdair MacPherson and Alasdair Peterson, chief editors of the Edinburgh Student Law Review. The session will take the form of a panel discussion where we will have the opportunity to discuss key issues around academic publishing, such as:
• What editors and reviewers are looking for
• Key mistakes or stumbling blocks
• The review process
• Handling reviewers comments
• Dealing with rejection
• And any other issues people would like to discuss.
