GESA December Reading Group - Circular Economy

This GESA Reading Group will be an interdisciplinary reflection on the Circular Economy with Susan McLaren, Moray House School of Education and Fleur Ruckley, Climate 2020 group

circular economy is an alternative to a traditional linear economy (make, use, dispose) in which we keep resources in use for as long as possible, extract the maximum value from them whilst in use, then recover and regenerate products and materials at the end of each service life.

The GESA Reading groups are inclusive and relaxed, their aim is to bring students from a variety of disciplines together to discuss particular topical issues from the environment and society arena. After short presentations from our academics, students will break into smaller discussion groups and then feedback to the wider group.

To frame discussions please  familiarise yourself with the indicative readings, and consider the questions,  but do bear in mind that this is a discussion based event and we do not expect you to have indepth expert knowledge of the topic.
