MSc Reading Group October - Fracking

This event is delivered by the Global Environment and Society Academy and is open to all University of Edinburgh Masters students.

The theme of the October MSc Reading group is Fracking. GESA Vice Principal Prof Dave Reay and GESA Deputy Director Dr Elizabeth Bomberg will introduce the evening.

After hearing their perspectives, we will break out into small discussion groups before coming back together to share what our groups believe are the key themes emerging from this emotive and controversial environmental issue.

The event begins at 6pm and we plan to finish at 8pm, there are plenty of local hostelries where members can move onto to discuss the issues in a less formal environment, and get to know each other a little bit better.
