Undergraduate Field Trips

Locations and dates of all compulsory and optional undergraduate field trips run by the School of GeoSciences.

All students should read and understand the School of GeoSciences Fieldwork Code of Conduct Policy prior to participating in any field trips. Please download the Code of Conduct below: 

Due to donations from our generous alumni and School support, the School will now pay in full the costs of all travel and accommodation on compulsory field trips.

Geography field trips are not normally available to students studying towards a MA Geography joint honours degree.

GEGR09016, GEGR09009 and GEGR09017 are not available to students studying a MA Sustainable Development (with Geography) degree.

GEGR09016, GEGR09009, GEGR09017 and GEGR10072 are available to students studying towards a MA Geography with Environmental Studies degree.

GEGR09009 (3rd year) is a pre-requisite for GEGR10072 (4th year).
