Research support
Our School and University provide a range of support for research staff.
Research support is provided through a network of teams distributed across our School, College and University with the aim to foster a positive environment for research through its life cycle.
Our School Research Support Office is the local contact point for researchers to get help with:
- demand managed funding calls
- early-career fellowship applications
- open-access requirements
- research ethics assessments
- Researchfish and some other reporting exercises
We act as links within the School, helping to connect researchers to colleagues in research impact, communications, and business development. We also work in partnership with the College of Science and Engineering and the Edinburgh Research Office, Edinburgh Innovations, the College Public Engagement Advisory Group, and the Institute for Academic Development.
Support for current staff and students
