Deposit
Applicants receiving an offer of admission, either unconditional or conditional, will be asked to pay a tuition fee deposit of £1,500 to secure their place on the programme. The deposit will be offset against the tuition fee payable at the time of matriculation.

GIS Scholarships
The School of GeoSciences offers many Scholarships and Bursaries for Masters students, details for 2016 entry will be announced shortly.

University of Edinburgh Scholarships
The University of Edinburgh offers a wide range of scholarships to support students of all nationalities. These include the Edinburgh Global Master’s Scholarship and many other region- and country-specific scholarships.
These scholarships have a separate application process. For most of the scholarships you will need to have already applied for a place on the MSc before you can apply for the scholarship. The deadlines for these scholarships range from October to May, so you need to apply early to the MSc to be able to apply for the full range of scholarships.
