Global Change Seminar Series

The Global Change seminars are an interdisciplinary series exploring global change issues aimed at an audience of staff and students from a wide range of fields.

Earth and Planetary Science Seminar Series

The Earth and Planetary Science seminars series is a regular opportunity to engage with a variety of scholars from around the world. The seminars provide a forum for colleagues to share and learn about current research in global challenges relating to resources, natural hazards and the environment.

Geography and the Lived Environment Events Series

The Research Institute of Geography and the Lived Environment (RIGLE) hosts a variety of events during semesters 1 and 2.

Edinburgh Earth Observatory Seminars

A seminar series presenting topics in the broad areas of geographical information and remote sensing. This prestigious series combines research seminars with talks of professional interest and is open to students and staff across the University and beyond, together with professionals in the field.

Edinburgh Environment and Development Network (EEDN)

EEDN was initiated in early 2018 in order to bring together academics and practitioners working on issues of environment and development from around Edinburgh.

Hutton Club

The Hutton Club is a seminar series that focuses on current topics in physical geography and Earth surface processes. It is open to students and staff across the University.
