Did you know you are part of a dynamic, worldwide community of University of Edinburgh alumni, with over 215,000 graduates in more than 200 countries around the globe? Wherever you are, there are plenty of ways to stay in touch.
Find out below how you can join an alumni club, organise a reunion, sign up for our e-newsletter or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
The School of GeoSciences values its alumni and works hard to foster links between graduates, staff and students. Make sure you stay updated with what’s happening around the School and the rest of the University, by letting us know how best to contact you.
On behalf of our group of 17 who visited Drummond Street and the ECCI yesterday, may I express our sincere thanks to you and to Sandy, Nick and Annabel for giving us such a warm welcome back to our old haunts… the visit to ECCI in particular was a nostalgia trip as enough remains of the old High School Yards building to have triggered memories of when the building was our home from home for four impressionable years.
Thinking about organising a reunion? Then please get in touch to find out how we can help, from organising tours and speakers to arranging accommodation - and for very special reunion years the drinks are on us!
Much like you, we've changed over the years.
On 1 August 2002, the School of GeoSciences was formed following the merger of the Institute of Ecology and Resource Management, the Institute for Meteorology, the Department of Geography, and the Department of Geology and Geophysics.
Though we are now a School with a wider remit, many of our alumni still meet up with classmates from their course. Please let us know if you are planning a reunion and we can help you track down long-lost contacts and arrange special reunion deals on University venues and accommodation.
If you would like help with organising your reunion, or find out about upcoming reunion events, please visit the University’s Alumni Services pages.
The University has a wide range of services for alumni, including international alumni clubs around the world, networking events and careers advice.
You will soon be able to sign up to our GeoSciences e-newsletter to find out about the latest news from around the School. Please e-mail Sanne Dijkstra-Downie in the meantime if you would like to join the mailing list.
The School also organises a number of events that are free to attend by all.
