GS Executive Member Appointed as Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh
Congratulations to Professor Alison Murray on her election as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE)
Professor Alison Murray, Roland Sutton Professor of Radiology, University of Aberdeen is a member of the Generation Scotland Executive and co-investigator on the Wellcome Trust STRADL research programme.
The RSE is an educational charity, registered in Scotland, operating on a wholly independent and non-party-political basis and providing public benefit throughout Scotland. The RSE’s aim is to play a leading role in the development of a modern enlightenment that will enable Scotland to contribute significantly to addressing the global challenges facing humanity in the 21st Century. Drawing on the expertise of their Fellows, the RSE provides independent evidence and advice to inform public policy decisions and legislative direction. Our contributions support decision makers in the Scottish and UK parliaments, Scottish and UK governments, and in the Civil Service. Fellows also support aspiring entrepreneurs, develop research capacity and leadership, and public engagement events.
