Finance systems for Researchers.

There are various systems across the University that can assist in post award grant management and reporting, and some are highlighted below.

The Worktribe Research Management System provides the functionality to manage externally funded research projects from “Bid Development” through to “Project Award” and finally “Project Closure". Mandatory training must be successfully completed before access is given.

eTime is the University’s time recording system that allows staff on EC projects to complete timesheets which are a mandatory requirement.

All Finance systems can be accessed via the Finance Systems Launchpad (requires EASE login and to be set up on eAuthorisations).

It is possible to amend the Launchpad screens to tailor for Research, please refer to the Launchpad Quick Guide (secured).

WebFirst Reporting System

The WebFirst reporting system is used to report on transaction and account balance information. In addition, it holds information on salary forecasting, detailed expenses reporting, and eTime information. It is a read only, real time Web-based Financial Information and Reporting System which pulls together information from a number of Finance Systems.
