Gordon Aikman Lecture Theatre

Located on the South side of the square, this is one of the university’s main lecture theatres. It has a large stage and an audience capacity of over 400.

Gordon Aikman Lecture Theatre is a long established festival venue situated  on the edge of an elegant Georgian garden in the heart of the university campus. The interior can be used as a working theatre with a large stage and a spacious backstge area.  The 1970s exterior is also popular with filming projects in the capital.
