In August the University’s Alwaleed Centre celebrated the ancient craft of calligraphy.

Chinese-Muslim artist Haji Noor Deen - known as one of the greatest living masters of calligraphy - gave talks and demonstrations at the International Book Festival, just Festival and Edinburgh Islam Festival.
