Solar Farm

Overview of the solar farm project.

Dates: April 2020 - September 2020 

The new 1.5MW Ground Mounted Solar Farm will be connected to the University’s Easter Bush Campus, home to the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, via a new High Voltage connection, and will offset nearly 1.4M kWh of electricity per annum. The installation is expected to be completed around mid-2020 and will play a part in the University’s ‘Zero by 2040’ carbon reduction target.
