This project is a key component of the Data Driven Innovation programme and is co-funded by the City Region Deal and the University of Edinburgh to deliver a world class research facility where academics and commercial partners work collaboratively to drive innovation within the health science sector.

This project will deliver a new build facility at the Edinburgh BioQuarter for Usher staff and commercial partners over 4 storeys. A key purpose of this building will be to co-locate Usher staff with commercial partners to foster collaboration and regular informal interactions. Members of the public will also be welcomed into the building to make use of the ground floor and critical health science to discover the work which is being undertaken by the institute through display space and a public outreach programme. Further details regarding the new building and the process of moving in is provided at: www.ed.ac.uk/usher/about-us/new-usher-building
