Staff Pride Network awarded Stonewall Scotland Network of the Year 2018. The University’s Staff Pride Network for LGBT+ colleagues and allies, has been named Stonewall Scotland’s Network Group of the Year. The award was made in recognition of the network’s efforts over the past year to promote an inclusive and supportive culture at Edinburgh. It was presented at the charity’s Workplace Equality Awards (Thursday 8 March 2018). Awards Ceremony - Mano Farsarakis, Jonathan MacBride SPN, Denise Boyle, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. I am proud and delighted that the University of Edinburgh Staff Pride Network has been awarded Stonewall Scotland Network Group of the Year for their breadth of work supporting LGBT+ staff at the university and in helping develop its LGBT+ inclusion work. I, along with our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion team, look forward to continuing working with and supporting our Staff Pride Network to take forward the University’s LGBT+ agenda.
