Purpose

Purpose of the Network.

To provide a platform for UoE BAME staff and PGR students to get to know and support one another
To foster a safe space in which UoE BAME staff and PGR students can come together to share their experiences and discuss relevant issues
To implement a mentorship programme where confidential support and advice can be sought and given on BAME issues
To celebrate BAME staff and PGR students across the University
To provide a mechanism for the University to seek consultation and advice on policies related to BAME issues in order to promote an inclusive and equal environment
