Why should I use it?

In today’s competitive job market, it’s more important than ever that you have an EdGE over the competition. Keeping track of what you’ve done and learned over the course of your time at University will be an invaluable resource when it comes to applying for graduate jobs or postgraduate courses.

The specialist knowledge and abilities you develop as part of your academic studies is important, but so are the skills and attributes that come from other experiences, such as volunteering, travel or involvement in a club or society.

The MyEdGE workbook will help you identify your strengths and articulate your experiences – both academic and non-academic – in terms of what you have gained. It could also help to identify any attributes you would like to develop further.

By identifying and developing your Graduate Attributes, you can make sure that you get the Edinburgh EdGE – the key to your future success.
