Location
EELC 2018 will be held at the Moray House School of Education, on Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile.
The School is very accessible:
- By train, we are a five-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station.
- By plane, there is a fast and regular shuttle bus that takes you directly to Waverley, stopping at many hotels along the route.
- By car, the A1 comes into the city centre and there is a multi-storey car park a short walk away.

Accommodation
There are many places to stay in Edinburgh – we recommend using the search engines below for the best rates. Our location will often be described as ‘Holyrood’ or ‘Royal Mile’ (our postcode is EH8 8AQ). Princes Street is the main shopping street – it has a number of hotels but is likely to be quite noisy.
Edinburgh’s local bus network is excellent and makes a lot of the city accessible.
