Phase two of Scotland fellows announced

The Future of the UK and Scotland programme funded by the ESRC has appointed Professor James Mitchell and Professor Brad Mackay, both from the University of Edinburgh, to join the existing seven fellows.

Professor Mitchell will look at the implications of the referendum on the governance of the rest of the UK as well as on the local governance in Scotland. The second fellow, Professor MacKay, will investigate how the constitutional and political uncertainty surrounding the future of Scotland is influencing business decision making.
