TESS on increasing demand for ASN mediation in Scotland.
The Times Educational Supplment Scotland (TESS) (28th August 2015) reported on the rising demands for mediation as a means of resolving disputes raised by families over additional support for learning (ASL). The article also underlined the concerns of mediators about the impact of cutbacks and reconfigured services, and quoted extensive remarks from Resolve: ASL' s manager Sandra Mitchell and Common Ground's Morag Steven. Both of them have recently worked with CREID on our project Dispute resolution in additional support needs: Working together to improve children’s and families’ experiences in Scotland.
