Two presentations by Professor Riddell in Spain | 19 and 21 Feb 2019
Professor Sheila Riddell gave two presentations in Spain. One was on children with Additional Support Needs in Scotland and another was about designing and selecting qualitative samples.
Professor Riddell was invited to present the findings of our ESRC-funding project "Autonomy, Rights and Children with Special Needs: A New Paradigm?" to the International Seminar "Autonomía Y Derecho A La Participación De Los Niños Y Niñas Con Necesidades De Apoyo Educativo" at the University of Burgos on the 19th February. Her presentation was entitled "The biggest extension of rights in Europe? Opportunities and challenges in delivering rights to children with ASN".
A few days later on the 21st February, Professor Riddell gave another presentation to a doctoral training programme at the Instituto Universitario de Ciencias de la Educación (IUCE) at the Universidad de Salamanca. Her presentation was entitled "Designing and selecting qualitative samples: ‘The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men Gang aft a-gley’ Robert Burns 'To a Mouse'".
