[Biography] Suki Wan MSYP ─ Scottish Youth Parliament

Suki Wan is the current Chair of the Scottish Youth Parliament and has been the elected Member for Glasgow Shettleston since March 2015.

In addition to her local constituency work, Suki represents the voice of young people in several national level groups including The Advisory Council on Women and Girls, the Joint Strategic Board for Equally Safe (the Scottish Government’s plan for eradicating gender-based violence and discrimination). Outside of youth representation, Suki is a third year student studying Politics at the University of Glasgow with ambitions to work in the charity sector after graduating. She is currently taking a year out from her studying and is working on a part-time basis on a project for Together (Scottish Alliance for Children’s Rights).
