[Biography] Dr Annie Sorbie ─ School of Law, University of Edinburgh

Annie Sorbie is a Lecturer in Medical Law and Ethics at the University of Edinburgh, School of Law, and Deputy Director of the Mason Institute for Medicine, Life Sciences and the Law.

Dr Sorbie is a medical lawyer by training (currently non-practising) with over 14 years’ experience in legal practice in the health, social care and regulatory sector.  Her research has two key strands: professional regulation and health research regulation.
