Judith Litjens
Judith Litjens was a Research Fellow in the Centre for Research in Education Inclusion and Diversity at the Moray House School of Education, University of Edinburgh. She previously worked as a Research Associate on the Enhancing Teaching and Learning (ETL) Project at the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Assessment (Moray House School of Education). She also worked as a tutor in Sociology at the School of Social and Political Studies, University of Edinburgh.

Biography
Her main research interests have been in the areas of: European influences in higher education; policy making in higher education; lifelong learning policies.
She worked on a study looking at equal opportunities and practices in FE Colleges in Scotland; the Sixth Framework project which looks at lifelong learning policies in Europe; and the Managing progress project.
She has published in the area of education policy.
