Ex/Cancer: The benefits of exercise after a cancer diagnosis

Leading experts from the Faculty of kinesiology and physical education discussed the benefits of physical activity – offering evidence-based strategies to start and stick with manageable exercise programs.

“Ex/Cancer: The Benefits of Exercise After a Cancer Diagnosis” was held in April 2017 at the Isabel Bader Theatre and was the tenth installment of the Faculty’s public research symposia. 

Gareth Wheeler, Canadian sports broadcaster, former soccer player, and cancer survivor and advocate led the event.
