We offer a variety of short courses and events including courses on timetabling, coding and digital literacy or conversations with education professionals.

In conversation with Pat Wharton and Delia Binney: in dialogue with Reggio Emilia

We are delighted to offer this 'In Conversation' event on Friday 6 March 2020 with our keynote speakers Delia Binney and Pat Wharton.

Introduction to effective timetabling

This is an intensive 3-day secondary school timetabling course for those involved in the construction of the school timetable for the first time or in need of an overview of the basics of the theory and practice of timetabling, particularly with a focus on curriculum for excellence. The next places available are on the courses in December 2019 and January 2020.

Principal teacher: leadership of learning

This course on 12 November 2019 is designed for individuals in both primary and secondary sectors to give an understanding of the key concepts and strategies for leading and managing the processes of learning, teaching and assessment within a department/faculty.

Intermediate timetabling

This is an intermediate timetabling course on 26 February 2020 for those that have completed the effective timetabling course or those with some knowledge of timetabling.

Principal teacher: leadership of learning - follow up course

This interactive session has been designed as a follow up to the Principal teacher: leadership of learning course.

ISAK: level 1

This course leads to the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK) Level 1 accreditation and ISAK membership.
