Move & Read - Research Project

Move & Read is a research project that aims to co-develop with teachers a programme of activities for early literacy that are physically active and align with the learning content (this is called embodied cognition).

Move & Read brings together primary 1 teachers' expertise and considers their needs, their settings, and the facilitators and barriers they face when it comes to teaching early literacy in a physically active way. As part of the Move & Read project, it is important to support primary school teachers' professional learning and engagement with research evidence.
