The University of Edinburgh Teacher Education Partnership Steering Group
Details about our partnership steering group.
The University of Edinburgh Teacher Education Partnership Steering Group was established to take forward a commitment from the School of Education and its key local authority partners to form closer partnership arrangements. The Steering Group is co-chaired by the Head of Moray House School of Education and Sport and Fiona Robertson (Head of Education and Children Services at East Lothian Council).
The Steering Group comprises senior representatives from each partner authority and a national teachers’ representative from the EIS. The Steering Group meets formally three times per year.
It is concerned with aspects such as the key principles for partnership, governance and communication arrangements, as well as identifying and overseeing priorities for partnership development work.
