The Outdoor and Environmental Education unit of Moray House School of Education and Sport is a world class institution dedicated to the research, teaching, and promotion of outdoor, environmental, and sustainability education.
An Outdoor Education programme has been conducted in its present or similar form for over 40 years at the University. The programmes have an international reputation for their academic and professional quality. The Postgraduate Diploma, and similarly the Master’s degree, have provided conceptual and practical training for many of those now influential in the profession. The Master's degree is unique in Europe and one of a few in the world.
