For over 45 years, the Postgraduate Diploma in Outdoor Education, and for over 20 years, the MSc in Outdoor Education, have been the world's leading and longest-running graduate programme in the field, providing a broad base for a professional career in Outdoor Education.
Outdoor Education programmes are geared towards those interested in adventure education, expeditions, personal and social development through outdoor experiences, and environmental education. They are ideal for people working, or seeking to work in adventure and expedition education, outdoor recreation, eco-tourism, physical education, youth development, and outdoor education centres.

Programme structure

There are three possible exit levels: Certificate, Diploma, or Masters. The emphasis – at every level – is on developing the knowledge, understanding, and judgement necessary to facilitate meaningful learning in, for, and through the outdoors.
