Outdoor Education (MSc/PgDip/PgCert)
The Postgraduate Diploma in Outdoor Education has been offered since 1992, and the Master’s in Outdoor Education since 1996. Together, these programmes are world leading and the longest running graduate programmes in the field. They offer a broad base for a professional career in Outdoor Education through a variety of approaches to learning.
The Outdoor Education programmes focus on historical and contemporary approaches to outdoor, environmental and adventure education. They are ideal for people working, or seeking to work in adventure and expedition education, outdoor recreation, eco-tourism, physical education, youth development, including outdoor education centres.
The Outdoor and Environmental Education (OEE) Programmes commence with a compulsory induction on Monday 30th of August 2021 at 10AM BST.
The first academic course begins on Thursday 2nd September 2021 at 9AM BST.
It is recommended that you arrive a minimum of 2-3 business days before induction and allow sufficient time to comply with any COVID-19 restrictions you may have to meet.

N.B. If you require a visa to study in the UK, your CAS will state the start date of the programme as September 1st, but your visa will allow you to enter the UK in good time to comply with COVID restrictions and attend the induction days from August 30th.
