This space is intended to provide you with the information you need to prepare for your new role and transition into working life at Moray House and the wider University.

Starting a new role in a new organisation can be exciting and daunting. There is a lot to learn in a short space of time. We want to ensure your experience of joining the University of Edinburgh is as enjoyable and smooth as possible to help you settle in quickly.

Mandatory training

All new staff must complete mandatory training and assessments. These courses usually take place online and will be assigned to you through our learning and training platform.

The School’s staff intranet should then be your go-to for any and all information to support you during your time at Moray House. 

Here, you will also find the School strategy, governance arrangements and the School's Professional services Team, which supports all core areas of business across the School.
