Edinburgh Innovations and Covid-19 pandemic
In line with University of Edinburgh guidance, we have made changes to our events and activities. However, we are continuing to offer a full range of services to students – see below.
A number of online, free resources from the University of Edinburgh and beyond have been collated in one place to help you develop your skills and ideas and find support for mental health and wellbeing. This includes courses on Learn and links to external organisations such as Google Garage, HubSpot Academy and more.

Sustainable Enterprise Ideation Workshop
Wednesday 8 April, 3.30pm - 5pm, online
We have amended our popular Find your Startup Idea workshop to be more pertinent to the current global situation. Join us for this short online session to brainstorm new opportunities on how you can help with a social enterprise idea.
Accounting Workshop - understanding your business finances
Tuesday 21 April, 3pm - 5pm, online
This two-hour online session will help you develop your business idea, adding in the detail, by completing a three-year financial forecast as part of your business planning task. The tools demonstrated and provided will help you to produce financials that you will be competent in presenting to funders.
One Day Enterprise Workshop
Saturday 30 May, 10am - 5pm, online
Our one-day enterprise workshop has moved online. This workshop will help you define your business idea, understand basic business principles and work through the nine sectors of a business model canvas.

We have teamed up with Santander Universities to bring you the Startup Summer Accelerator. This 12-week programme will help early-stage and potential startups increase their chances of launching.
