*In line with University of Edinburgh guidance, we are making changes to our events, as the Covid-19 situation continues to develop. We have decided to continue running our Startup Summer Accelerator programme. The sessions, originally planned face-to-face, will now be held online.
We have teamed up with Santander Universities to bring you the Startup Summer Accelerator. Receive £3,000 in funding so you can learn and work full-time on your business idea over the summer. Participants will also have the opportunity to pitch for a larger cash prize at the end of the programme.
Develop your skills and learn everything you need to know to become a successful entrepreneur. With regular workshops and weekly meetings you’ll learn market validation, product development, finances, pitching and digital marketing skills. With additional, optional workshops to suit you and your startup idea.
The cohort will also receive expert mentorship and coaching, peer to peer sessions, and gain industry insight through weekly events featuring top entrepreneurs and investors from Edinburgh’s startup community.

The Summer Accelerator has allowed me to take my company from an idea stage to a fully functioning product, ready to launch.
My business went from having a semi-broken prototype to an almost releasable MVP in the space of the accelerator. The ability to focus on my startup full-time was incredibly valuable.
It’s a great opportunity to share with like-minded people and build long-lasting relationships.
