1. Colin Pulham, Head of the School of Chemistry, discusses his research interests and the collaboration with Sunamp.

He also talks about the benefits of engaging with industry from the School's and researchers' perspective.

2.  Dr Louise Horsfall, Senior lecturer in Biotechnology at the School of Biological Sciences, discusses how engaging with industry helped her to work on real-world problems, not just samples in the lab. She talks about her work with micro- and medium-sized companies and how Edinburgh Innovations supported her throughout this process.

3. Dr Maurizio Tomasella from the Business School at the University of Edinburgh discusses his involvement with airports, airlines and air traffic controllers around the UK and Europe as well as construction companies, collaborating with them on various projects. He discusses the value that industry collaborations bring to his research.

4.  Dr Tiffany Wood of the Edinburgh Complex Fluids Partnership and Edinburgh Innovations worked together to deliver results for industry partners. According to Dr Wood, the great benefit of working with industry is that researchers can gain insights into problems that really matter,  very valuable when writing research proposals.

5. Dr Goncalo Dos Reis from the School of Mathematics discusses why he started working with the banking industry and how his work impacts the whole sector. He also talks about the value of working with Edinburgh Innovations.

6. Professor Antonella Sorace from the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences discusses "Bilingualism Matters"  and the help provided by Edinburgh Innovations to her international projects.

7. Professor Guy Lloyd-Jones, an organic chemist at the University of Edinburgh, discusses his collaboration with TGK Scientific and how Edinburgh Innovations guided his project from the very beginning, helping him understand IP and patenting requirements.
