Masters, diploma and post-experience courses in Infectious Diseases

The University offers several Masters courses which focus on infectious diseases, plus other courses which cover different aspect of infectious diseases as part of a broader programmes of study.

Masters programmes and courses of study focussing on infectious disease

The University of Edinburgh offers a number of different Masters level courses which focus on infectious diseases. 

There are on-campus 1 year full time courses leading to a Masters by Research degree, on-campus taught masters courses and a large number of part-time distance learning courses.  In some cases, postgraduate certificates or diplomas and can be attained after 1 or 2 years part-time study.

In addition to these courses, there are a number of courses run either the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Sciences or the Centre for Population Health Sciences which cover subjects relevant to infectious disease.  Please note that some of these courses require prior medical or veterinary training.
