Edinburgh AMR Forum Seminar and Poster Day

We are delighted to announce that registration is now open to attend the first Edinburgh AMR Forum Seminar and Poster Day on Wednesday 20 April 2022.

This will be a friendly, informal event for all kinds of researchers working on Antimicrobial Resistance across Edinburgh to meet each other and discuss their projects. After two years of virtual meetings it will be an excellent opportunity to gather face to face and meet new colleagues. There will be much to catch up on!

The event will be held in-person in the Old Medical School at Teviot Place from 2 pm.

Poster sessions - Sydney Smith Lecture Room, Doorway 1, Old Medical School

2.00 - 2.45 pm: Poster session 1

2.45 - 3.30 pm:  Poster session 2

3.30 - 4.00 pm: Break for coffee and cake!

Seminar - Anatomy Lecture Theatre, Doorway 3, Old Medical School (and online)

4.00 - 5.00 pm: Genomics of AMR – from isolates to microbiomes (Bryan Wee, Usher Institute)

There are a limited number of spaces available at the poster sessions, and you must register on Eventbrite to attend.  Places will be allocated on a “first-come, first-served basis”, so please sign up soon to secure your place!

Please note:  If you have already registered to bring a poster you do not need to register again.

Following the poster session the Edinburgh AMR Forum seminar will take place in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre.  This event will also be accessible on Zoom; if you are going to be attending the seminar online there is no to register.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!
