Postgraduate Virtual Open Week
Postgraduate Virtual Open Day is a great opportunity to learn more about continuing your economics education at Masters or PhD level.
Dr Anna Babloyan, MSc Programme Director and Professor Jonathan Thomas, PG Director will be happy to answer any questions you may have about Masters and PhD study opportunities. Through an online platform, Blackboard Collaborate, you can ask your questions and hear from staff.
- Wednesday 13th March, 11:00-11:30 (UK time) Masters Programmes at the School of Economics
The MSc Programme Director, Dr Anna Babloyan will give a brief overview of the material taught in the MSc Economics as well as the Finance- and Econometrics-focused variants. Other topics covered will include: the application process, fees, the summer school, the chance to write a dissertation in partnership with an outside company, and the collaborative structure of the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics.

Economics Postgraduate Director, Professor Jonathan Thomas will give a brief overview of the structure of the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics (i.e., MSc Economics, plus Finance- and Econometrics-focused variants of the economics MSc), and similarly an overview of PhD programme and how we decide who to take. Other topics covered will include fees, PhD scholarships, the MSc summer school, and the collaborative structure of the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics.
