Guest lecture with Fiona Scott Morton (Yale University)

Yale University's Theodore Nierenberg Professor of Economics, Fiona Scott Morton, gave a special guest lecture at the Playfair Library on Monday 27th September.

In this special lecture titled "The Impact of Economic Research on Competition Enforcemet" Professor Scott Morton explores the link between cutting edge research and antitrust action in her lecture.

Professor Scott Morton 

Fiona Scott Morton is a Professor of Economics at the Yale School of Management. From 2011-12, Professor Scott Morton served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economics at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she helped enforce the nation’s antitrust laws. Her research focuses on industrial organisation, with a focus on empirical studies of competition in areas such as pricing, entry, and product differentiation.
