Accessible learning

We are committed to ensuring the accessibility of our curriculum.

We aim to help students maximise their academic potential and get the most benefit from their programme of study and university experience.

In line with our strategic goals of excellence in learning and teaching, we seek to enhance the student experience by creating a learning and teaching environment, and culture, that is dynamic, accessible and inclusive.

Students can arrange Learning adjustments through the University's Student Disability Service. The SDS can discuss possible adjustments and specific examination arrangements, assist with an application for Disabled Students’ Allowance, give information about available technology and personal assistance, and prepare a Schedule of Adjustments which outlines recommended adjustments. This will then be used by the School to determine the adjustments applied to each course that a student has registered for.
