If circumstances exceptional to you, and beyond your control - medical, non-medical or compassionate - have impacted adversely on your studies, contact the Student Support Office or your Personal Tutor as quickly as possible.
Student Support and/or your Personal Tutor will be able to advise you about making a case for special circumstances, and what documentation you will require.
It is your responsibility to submit your Special Circumstances form. In the form, you should describe your circumstances, explain how they affected your ability to complete any assessments, and indicate the dates affected.
It is very important to include evidence to support your case. Evidence should cover the period affected.
There are guidelines on the timescales for reporting special circumstances and the evidence you will need to provide to support your case. See: Special Circumstances Procedure
