Edinburgh Buddhist Studies Network
Bringing together Buddhist Studies enthusiasts in Scotland and the north of the UK.
The Edinburgh Buddhist Studies Network aims to foster interdisciplinary scholarship across the broad field of Buddhist studies and nurture and shape the trajectory of the future of Buddhist studies in the UK. We promote improved public understanding of Buddhism and enhance the reputation of the University of Edinburgh as a key international hub for research, teaching, and outreach relating to Asian religions.
Our Network is supported by the Khyentse Foundation.
Our researchers deliver a range of one year taught or research Masters programmes and supervise PhD students in their specialist areas. For further details, please go to our Postgraduate study pages.
Please browse Edinburgh Buddhist Studies member profiles and contact the appropriate member of the committee to chat about your project and supervision.
