New College Away Day 2019 This year’s Away Day will be a trip to Dunblane, historic gateway to rural Perthshire, home to a famous cathedral and the tennis-playing Murray brothers. Buses will leave New College at 8.45am and return around 6pm. There will be bacon rolls (and vegetarian alternatives) on arrival, entertainment in the Cathedral Hall all morning, soup for lunch and then free time before scones and jam and the return home. A walk will be organised for the afternoon, and guided tours around the Cathedral will be available. Both Dunblane Museum and the Leighton Library will be open for a visit. There are several playparks nearby and lovely cafes for tea and cakes. All staff and students of New College, and their families, are welcome - but places are limited! Priority for new students.
