Theology, Science and the Environment: Human Beings in Context

'What does theology have to tell us about our relationship to the environment?  How does science impact upon a theology of the environment?  And what does this all mean for what it is to be human and their relations to nature?  How do we find a  sustainable place as a species within a flourishing environment? These questions, raised by the Papal encyclical ‘Laudato Si’, will be considered by theologians and scientists.

This conference is being organised by the Albertus Institute for Science, Knowledge and Religion in conjunction with the Science and Religion Programme of the School of Divinity at the University of Edinburgh.'
