Using a combination of epidemiological and basic science techniques, I am investigating the shared and separate contributions of HPA axis dysregulation and immune activation on psychiatric phenotypes in adulthood. The epidemiological work is being conducted with Dr Heather Whalley in Psychiatry, while the lab-based work is being conducted under Dr Paula Brunton with co-supervision by Prof. Megan Holmes in CDBS.
