Research

In my current research project, I’m using in vitro whole cell electrophysiology combined with imaging techniques to study the mechanisms underlying aberrant cellular excitability and synaptic function in rodent models of neurodevelopmental disorders including Fragile X Syndrome and CDKL5 deficiency disorder. I am particularly interested in investigating the development of axoaxonic inhibition in the context of neurodevelopmental disorders.
