How we can help you
We can help schools and departments stay closely connected with graduates, enabling alumni, staff and students to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
Alumni benefits and services
We provide a cohesive programme of benefits and services to advance the personal and professional development of our graduates.
Advice and guidance
Our alumni help to enhance our position as one of the world’s leading teaching and research universities. We can help schools and departments stay closely connected with graduates, enabling alumni, staff and students to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
We can provide a range of advice and guidance, and share best practice. Partnering with other departments allows us to maximise resources and opportunities, and we welcome close liaison to ensure a coordinated and effective approach.
Innovation Initiative Grants (IIGs) are financed by alumni of the University, via donations to the Edinburgh Fund, and could provide the kick start that you need. IIGs promote new initiatives in teaching, research and student support, and applications are open to permanent members of staff.
Development and Alumni (D&A) manage and maintain the Alumni Register, the sole source of accurate and authenticated information regarding graduates.
D&A also publish a monthly electronic newsletter, maintain a noticeboard of announcements on the Alumni Services website, and manage a number of active social media accounts including Twitter and Facebook.
