Who are we?
The Development and Alumni department is outward-looking, consultative and committed to building meaningful relationships with alumni, donors, staff and students. We respond to the evolving needs of the University, our students, and wider society and collaborate to fulfil social, cultural and economic benefit to Edinburgh, Scotland and the world – as outlined in the University’s Strategy 2030.
Development and Alumni is structured around five distinct functional areas - Alumni Relations, College Advancement and Health Philanthropy, Philanthropy and Donor Relations, and Services - and we work together collaboratively and creatively to build the Edinburgh community, nurture and develop talent, and advance world-leading education and research.

Find out more about our alumni community, how we support them with resources, events and access to information and networks, and how they contribute to the life of the University.
